Q1. I got married two years ago in Nepal. I have not registered the marriage legally in Nepal. The government officials deny for registering my marriage in Nepal in my absence even though I had an application letter with my signature. They say both husband and wife need to be present in order to be registered. In this case, how can I get a marriage certificate? I need this certificate to apply a dependent visa (F2) for my wife.
Q2. If granted a visa (F2) how soon should my wife leave to the United States? I heard somewhere within 6 months, is that correct?
Thank you
Regards,
Lauro
