Dear all, Namaste.

Does anyone has a link about tutorial for typing in Nepali true type fonts(not unicode)? what fonts are commonly used? i have been trying to use preeti but i could not find certain letters like 'nga' , 'u' etc.

I don't know about the specific fonts you want but there are quite a few in here....

and Preeti is best font , or you can use kantipur too

I think you need to use some combination with ALT key and numbers. I am not sure but for  nga try alt+0170, it may work. and for u try "QUOTATION MARK". if it auto corrects to quotation mark, just undo it. Its been more than 10 yrs since I used nepali font. 

jangali is right . when you type " just press ctrl z you will get your U and you can use charecter map under accessories , that tools also help too
