I think Deuba is not a Political Leader. I think he is just like a Office Assistant of Royal Palace to do everything what King asks him to do.

He is now having some reservations in the 12-point (or is it 7 point??- I am confused) agreement that he said was ok when he was in jail. Or so I read.

Only god knows what he is up to.

One thing I do not understand about Nepali politics....in words of Mr. Deuba himself he has been "ullo" 2 times. So why we (nepali people) are bothering abt what he says or does not say. Why don't we just ignore whatever that twice ullo says or does and keep on doing our jobs.

I thought his career as political leader was over in Asoj 18, he came back as PM (to be ullo again)...and he belives he will be PM 3 more times (according to his astrologer)....let him beleive whatever he wants to...but at least we (Nepali people) can do without dealing with that ULLU..

May common sense prevail in Nepal and Nepali Politics

Deuba is just a crap, just airhead, nothing else. He started Pajero Sanskriti and Sutkeri Bhatta among MPs in Nepal, sending some MPs to sleep with whores to Bangkot during parliamentary voting, largest cabinet of 52 members, first time with "no portfolio minister" et.

I once wrote to a Kantipur columnist after Deuba was sacked first time that if Girija or Makune were there on the prime minister's chair, King could never dare to sack a prime minister. I also mentioned that if King was to correct his Ahwoj 18 step, he would certainly bring back Deuba again, and King was to sack again, then he would sack Deuba only cause he is airhead only.

She he was fighting with e.ma.le. until he was sacked (at the eleventh hour) for the second time for the governer of Rastra bank. How can one say he is a leader?

I aslo mean that there is no leader in Nepal and there were no leader in the past. Some of the current student leaders such as Gangan Thapa, Rajendra Rai, might develop themselves as leader, but only future can tell us what will happen.

Good topic!
I support Deub's remark about 12 point understanding between Moist and parties. I think he is the true leader of Nepal. At least there is one leader who can speak against moist's terroist acts and against the moist rule in near future with their so called people's army. Seven parties can't do anything even moist take Singh Durbar. I hope those days never come. Think guys !! do you want your beloved country ruled by Moist with no freedom. If you guys think Moist will give up their arms and terroist acts that'll be yours day dreams.

personally i think the oldies have had thier chance...girija, sherbahadur and all those.....the real leadership should now be handed over the younger, more passionate generation....they are the ones with the ability to bring about real change...

You all might have observed that the political situation is being more worse nowadays comparatively while Deuba was at Jail.
