Try China Southern Airline Book cheap ticket. email them with passport copy your contact detail and ticket at flychinasouthern@csair.com They will setup everything perfect, ask your parents to keep some $5/10 bills , they expect tips .. I did for my parents never disappointed.

changing the plane n other things: they will take care just ask her/him to stay calm immigration: Ask them to stay quite, broken English might not be good, they will figured it out, they have separate systems no long line. Officer usually does not create trouble, in my case officer did not ask anything my grand mom was around 78 during visit so no worry at all. Good luck and best wish...

I did wheelchair for my mom few years ago, flying through Korea. She got received from the flight from KTM. Nobody showed up to pick her up from the rest area to take her to her flight to US. Luckily she met some good Nepali folks travelling together, so wasn't big issue. Even here in US, I have to do wheelchair for my mom every time she flies by herself domestic. There have been couple of incidents where nobody showed up to pick her up. So, I wouldn't rely on wheelchair completely, well if I had option..
