वरिपरी थारु सभासद राखेर देउवाले भने- म कसरी थारु विरोधी भएँ ?

८ भदौ, काठमाडौं । अखण्ड सुदूपश्चिमको अडान लिँदै आएका नेपाली कांग्रेसका वरिष्ठ नेता शेरबहादुर देउवाले आफू थारु विरोधी नभएको दाबी गरेका छन् ।

थारु समुदायको आन्दोलनका क्रममा सोमबार कैलालीको टीकापुरमा भएको हिंसात्मक झडपमा नेपाल प्रहरीका एसएसपी लक्ष्मण न्यौपानेसहित सात सुरक्षकर्मी मारिएको भोलिपल्ट देउवाले आफ्नै निवास बुढानिलकण्ठमा पत्रकार सम्मेलन आयोजना गरेका थिए ।

आफ्नो दायाँ बायाँ दुबै तिर पार्टीका थारु नेता तथा सभासदलाई राखेर पत्रकारमाझ प्रस्तुत भएका देउवाले आफू थारु विरोधी नभएको दाबी थुप्रै दलिल पेश गरे । उनले भने-‘जो मान्छेले कमैयालाई जग्गा दिएको छ, कसरी थारु विरोधी हुन्छ ? यद्यपि म पहाडी हुँ । कमैयाका पक्षमा भाषण गरेको छु । त्यस्तो व्यक्ति थारुविरोधी हुन्छ ?’

थरुहट प्रदेश बनाउनु पर्ने थारु समुदायको मागलाई भने उनले अस्वीकार गरेका छन् । ‘थारुलाई दियो भने अरुलाई पनि दिनुपर्छ’ भन्दै उनले थारुहरुलाई अरु अधिकार दिइने बताए ।

विगतदेखि थारु र पहाडी मिलेर बसेको भन्दै उनले यो एकता कायम राख्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिए ।

साथै उनले आफूलाई थारुलाई रौं पनि दिन्न नभनेको दाबी गरे । तर, जिल्ला टुक्राउन नहुने पक्षमा हिजो पनि रहेको, आज पनि रहेको र भोलि पनि रहने बताए ।

देउवासँगै एमालेका भीम रावल, एमाओवादीका लेखराज भटट्सहितका नेताहरुले अखण्ड सुदूरपश्चिमको अडान लिँदै आएका छन् । प्रदेशको सीमांकनबारे भएको पछिल्लो छलफलमा थारु सभासदले कैलालीको थारु बाहुल्य क्षेत्रलाई बर्दियासहितकेा प्रदेशमा राखे सहमति हुन सक्ने बताए पनि देउवासहितका नेताहरुले अस्वीकर गर्दै आएका छन् ।

कांग्रेस वरिष्ठ नेता देउवाले एसएसपीसहित ८ जनाको मृत्यु हुने गरी कैलालीको टीकापुरमा सोमबारको हिसांत्मक झडपलाई अपराधिक घटनाको संज्ञा दिएका छन् । यो जघन्य अपराध भएको भन्दै उनले यस्तो गर्ने जोसुकै कडा भन्दा कडा कारवाही गर्नुपर्ने बताए ।

उनले सम्वाद समितिका सभापति डा. बाबुराम भट्टराईले राजनीतिक कुरा गरेको भन्दै आपत्ति समेत जनाए । सम्वाद समितिको सभापति भएपछि राजनीतिक कुरा गर्न नपाइने भन्दै उनले भट्टराईले झगडा गराउने काम गरेको आरोप पनि लगाएका छन् ।

There are so many things done by deuba which were not good in the terms of democracy and he dissolved parliament and gave away democracy to place and still he is doing shit which why yesterday's Massacre happened .
he is the one who wants be leader of one region and tryimg not to give anything to poor tharus who are real nice people.As for me im bahun and i want our Nepal to unite and i hate fedralism but i think its too late too that happen.
