AmitRaja: a doctor said to BK "every Nepali  knows politics but not his respective job".

I don't believe that statement is true. Why? All Nepalis who left Nepal and went outside Nepal have performed well with their job? Why? It is because either they have good leadership or because they are leaders in their biz because the political or non-political leadership in that country offers them desire and motivation to work. But, in Nepal, we lack motivation from top leadership. Majority of political leaders are corrupt, morally useless, and they talk one think do else, they are not transparent, and that bring frustration. A very good friend of mine (formerly) got political appointment to Chairman position in a corporation because of his relation with politics, and his first job was to fire 500 staffs (about), and appoint the party cadres from his party. He simply does not have organizational leadership experience to lead a corporation. Initially, I was just wondering how can he handle a trouble corporation, and later I realized that "Oops, he does not have to do any by himself, because he will be asked everything he has to do". He is there to make public fool with his "pure" educational background. He does not have his degree in the best interest of his corporation. What inspiration or motivation will he offer? When he starts firing his employees on the very first week, what message he sends to his employees? His employees have to surrender to other political party for the protection.

So, whoever is that Doctor, he does not know the reality of the ground.

GP

DOOFY,

I do not want the king to be macho man..he he he. I am just talking about Gyaney and his failure as a leader.

Lotta people want to reinstate him, I don't(as a monarch). But if he wants to stick around like a figurative, non active King. Fine with me(as long as he does not interfere in governing Nepal).

I JUST DO NOT WANT TO PUT THE POWERS OF GOVERNING NEPAL TO A FAILED LEADER AGAIN. thats all.

Is it only a few people here understand that King Gyanendra Is not a failed King but a king who was forced to fail..............Bathroombrains............you are the most sh)itheaded person I have ever come accross. The king was made to step down not because he did not  do anything but just the opposite.........he tried to sack all the curropt government........intensify the army against the maoist and stop the indian invasion. Thats what he tried to do.................AND THATS WHEN THE MAOIST INDIA AND THE POLITICAL PARTIES JOINED ALLIANCES AND CREATED HUGE OBSTACLES IN THE KINGS WAY THAT HE COULD NOT KEEP UP...................why cant this suc0ker bathromvheda see this...???? is he blind.....OH I know he is an Indian.......thats why.

everytime the king set out to do something.....false propaganda was spread........Indians were scared because Our king was leaning towards China too much. India was going to loose all controll over Nepal...so it supported the maoist and the SPA to create as much havoc as the could  so that the image of the king's effort would create a bad image for him show him as a faliure  in the International community.......AAAYYY Bathroomkogukhane..................The only bad thing the king did was to step down soo freakin easily..........Had I been the King with the army and police in my command ......I would have declared Marshall law and then RATATATATATATATATATATAT.....to all these muzi political leaders and maoists......including any freakin ties with India.

During april uprising 2 years ago, I was so excited that I bought a brand new T-shirt, and wrote "Loktantra Jindabad" and every day I had that T-shirt as a support to the movement. But, my support went down when I saw the proclaims made by Girija on that day. I still respect Girija as the only man who can stand tall and firm, and if there is second man, that is Gyanendra, but Feb 1, 2005 weakened him.

A group of friends visited my house during the April uprising, I offered them a cake on top of it, I wrote: Loktantra Jindabad.

One of the visitor, who came from Nepal, and he was an active and successful business man, and you know what, he was very furious over the T-shirt, and then on the Cake. He asked me a question, "Do you know what is this Loktantra? Tapai jasto manchhe tyasari baraline ho....". I had a hard time defending my actions, and I did not retreat, but his question kept echoing me. He gave reasons to justify why this Loktantra stuff is not free and fair, and why it is backed by Indian RAW. In last 20 months, I have learned more and more, and I am now starting realize what he said is matching with the scenario. After Birendra's family massacre, Maoists are in fact turned into Indian RAW dogs, and they were used when Gyanendra was not under Indian Embassy's control. Now, Maoists are exposed, and trashed, and Indian Embassy is using Terai Card to create chaos, that is how Maoists will be worth nothing in a year or so, on one side they have YCL atrocities, and on the other side they are losing ground in Terai, and their complete control on Terai will be over once Matrika Yadav and Mr. Sah leave CPNM and join either TM Loktantrik Party, TMDP, (most likely) or MPRF (least likely).

So what ? CA will keep postponing, and the Parliament's size will keep swelling, and now they have to include TMDP. They will turn this parliament completely in mesh with chaos.

It is time for Nationalist Nepalis to unite, and fight back against Indian Raw Dogs. Join NWOB.org

I am so excited that a few month ago, Sajha was under full control of CPNM suppoters or sympathizers, and any one talked against CPNM was Royalists, but today CPNM supporters have gone into hide because YCL and Maoist activities in Nepal embarassed them. SPA Party supporters do not have any thing to defend them. Slowly it is a people in the middle --gray zone-- are realizing that Nepal can be or should not be turned into Republic Nepal. Republic Nepal is disaster to Nepal and Nepalis, only good for Indian Raw Dogs. Paras (killed 5 people) is less worst then Prachanda (killed 15,000 people). Save Nepal from Indian Raw Dogs.

Maddog , I have a question for you then ..Ok there were factors which hindered King.
But what about increasing his salary when country's economy was so bad.He did not have enough money?
What about buy stupid planes from china for his pleasure when RNAC was doing so bad?
Is that smart decision in the crunch time?

I agree with bathroom coffee ..A leader is given chance and he has to do it.It is not just good enough to have good intention you have to deliver. If you can't deliver then you are failure .Can't cry later.
To lead  you have to be diplomatic as well. What was the point alienating allies like Deuba? May be he was corrupt but this is politics. He should have used his brain. If can't he is a failed king.Mahendra was smart.Gaynedra is dumb. This is politics.

I just want institution to be there cause it is only and only reason which is why Nepal has remained Nepal. Many won't agree .They will say People blah blah ...and we all know how Nepalese people are. They will kill each other . We are just seeing the trailer.Madesh, limbuwan ,khubuwan etc.

We should respect the fears and sentiments expressed by our freinds in Sajha. We love our country very much.  I believe there is no Nepali who wants to see his country losing its sovereinty and identity. No one should claim of being more worried about the country and more patriotic than the other. No one is Indian, Chinese, American, King's sycophants here. We all are equally worried about our country- may it be in different forms. We all want to see our country peaceful and prosperous. We want to see our country developed. This is the bottom line.

We are presenting our views and counter views regarding amicable and peaceful transition of the present situation of the country.  Some of us are believing that monarchy is a very powerful institution because of what our country is united . Some of us, however, do believe that despite our untiring support and faith towards monarchy, the institution has betrayed us, the political process and the democracy several times. The institution itself has lost its identity and cannot do anything for the betterment of Nepal.

As earlier, I favor the second thought. Since we hate the king, his son and their behavior, who should we give our faith to? Or should we be faithful to those pigs like Kamal Thapa, Tulsi Giri, Surya Bahadur Thapa, Sarad Chandra Shad, Nepal Baba, Trishul Baba so on and so forth. Isn't it the same Kamal Thapa who polluted the Nepalese politics the most and tried to defame the multiparty democracy? How many times he changed his parties? He has the loudest voice now in the street. He is acting like a messiah to protect the king in Nepal and we are now very hurried to support him.

Some of our frens have been even saying that we actually need multiparty democracy with constitutional monarchy or ceremonial king. So far as I understand it means that the king will just be ceremonial with no power and the entire power of the state will be vested to the executive i.e the government. If it is so, why should we need the king again who will have no power at all and cannot do anything at the time when our so-called national integrity and sovereinty is at stake? Otherwise, if we want the check and balance between the executive/parliament and the king, and would like to give some power to king, how come it can be a ceremonial king? Isn't it total mess in our thoughts?

Let's suppose that the king is just the ceremonial like a toy. Probably this whould work like 30/40 years ago when we used to think the palace as another Pashupatinath Temple. Until then, not only Nepalese but all Hindus probably would regard the king as the incarnation of god and the palace as the temple. They used to believe King as a source of divine power. As it is very apparent, the situation is not like that now. Nepal has totally changed. No one wants to lose his right and likes to continue the institution which will have virtually nothing to count on.

We have also come across with gloomy views very often. If we remove the king, Nepal will be another Sikkim and Bhutan. I have seen nothing more than that in some parts of this thread. One and only one: Another Sikkim, Another Bhutan. Why are we fighting for the democracy? Were we in total delimma? If we, by virtue of the unique reality of Nepal, need the powerful King to protect our unity and sovereinty, why do we pretend to be democratic? Why did the great people of Nepal sacrificed their lives to overthrow the Panchayat system? There was periodic election, parliament, powerful king and super powerful royalists. Next, if whatever is happening is as per the premeditated plan of so called RAW and India and on top of that we already knew all that after 3 to 5 years Nepal would be a part of India, what the hell we are doing here? Isn't is shame on us (so called educated mass) forget about innocent people who are ready to be prey anytime? Shame on us, we can forsee the future easily but can not do anything!!!!!

CopiCAT: Shame on us, we can forsee the future easily but can not do anything!!!!!

That is why we need good leadership. Leadership is to lead the people, and we don't have leadership, and therefore, we need some force that keeps united. In unRoyal Nepal, we don't have desire and motivation to be united: I mean a force to remain united. Maoists brought the concept to get us separate like oil and water, and they brought the concept of we should separate like oil and water, but not mix like milk and water. We missed the opportunity to mix like water and milk, and there is only one last opportunity for us to be united, that is we should look at the fact that Indian Raw is working actively to divide us, and Maoist project of "JANAJATI" based ruling was Indian Raw endorsed plan. But, by now we went very far from milk-water mixing state to butter-water separation state. No one can save Gyanendra's kingship, because Indian Raw has already seen either new Sikkim or new Bhutan, and our JanaJatis have gone far beyond the scope remaining united. Today, Matrika Yadav wanted to have oath in Maithili, and I am sure tomorrow all 60 Janajatis will want, and they must want why not! Once KG leaves, we will slaughter each other like in Rwanda, Euthopia, and Yugslovia, to Darfur.

Please note that we can not do anything, because the bagdor of the country is gone to wrong people, and there is no way we can get it back. I will blame it to the civil society leaders who became Maoist dogs pre and post 2006 April uprising. They could have done more homework before serving Maoists. They became propaganda machine of Maoists, and now, they are exposed, and therefore, they have no weight in Nepali public's eyes. Nepali public look them as Maoist Dogs, nothing more nothing less. Thats it.

Read the following statement from Mohan Bikram Singh: He [MBS] accused the seven political parties of adopting a federal system largely due to Indian pressure rather than on the basis of their own conscience.

Read the following article on KOL:

‘Federalism wrong path for Nepal’

Kantipur Report

KATHMANDU, Jan 9 - Politicians and legal experts here Tuesday said the decision of the government and the major political parties to restructure the nation as a federal state could be the beginning of Nepal's disintegration.

के गर्ने!!!

As common Nepali say { excluded नेपाल बुद्धिजिबी परिषद }

will  shrug their shoulder and say, ....so what to do?  ....

No doubt many must have thought that once the monarch had been remove from power all would be well....hence rewind the rolls -notched back 300 years before-when Nepalese spell on the Dark Ages during overpowerd by Thakuri invading Kirati ( ~200AD),turbulance of pseudo hereditary by Rana`s borgias a Nepalese normal officier who made to belived himself as Vishnu- the God that reincarnate being   A King that avange   with the Queen stripped theactual Ruler`s of the Shah`s, conspiration of King Tribhuvan with Nehru upon his reinstallation returned be comprehened with coalition government in exchanged(1951),King Mahendra ~less keen on democracy who took matters on his own interest by perform hte  so -called panchayat system, then Birendra who dissident prison with political imprisoned without trials......made-up the Rana`s being Queen.............displeased by collapsed temple, devastated reaptured earthquake(1989), a martyrdom   chaos  of uprising democracy rallies climb on King Mahendra statue and dramaticly remove it as a symbols of monarchy desceptre....Birendra tragedy`s , .....Gyans;.....

seems nothing to have change,at all levels of government office corruption rife, lost confidence from the peoples, hostage taking, civil disobediences, strikes,Maoist insurgency, police violent backlash and Nepalese is now having an era`s of broken promises which somehow is against and condemned by Amnesty International.

In this heavenly world heritage valley, where the only a Hindu`s country in the 'Bhumi' imparting wholesome Shiva`s evolved originated from, next of India and petite Bali - by rights    an attempt    to outscast the monarchy ~ is similar to pull the nation barely   naked    naive and back like life before Adam spell on immortal earth, shame and sin. The King   institutions    itself    is a  symbol of Nepalese dignity and pride`s that last survival   of   Royals kingdom treasure. Vaguely of the rich emanated fine "thangkhas" related to the entity of the soverignity of the Nepal royal heritage, painted with mineral colours and gold on a silver cloth is deem as specimen of history, nationals scrolls outline the detailed Nepal.Should be the monarchy demolished , world too will lost this foundation mandala.Lets view the here say to have Nepal  King at this point too.

Upon threatend of Indian as a benovelent conquer to Nepal is a substitute issue that pinch the gritty of the patriachals.Being the strong brave  peoples, the Gorkhas famous resilience fighting renowned, the shadows of Indian shouldnt be point as a challenge for the means of victory. It is heard that  during the period of Prithvi Narayan Shah, the unification of Nepal in the 18th century, for wounding the King`s brother revenge from Indian independent rulers ousted, all the inhabitants   left   were punished by having their noses removed! They are even forced the British East India Company with Malla Kings of Kathmandu-foul cry and unforgotten  war   history for the soldiers.

Lets the King remains post stout.Whilst democracy is runnings domain, a clever and understanding referendums is the better way be channel out formaly to the authentic concern. For the sake of hope, peace and unity....

Fate of the country is on its peoples hand no matter how others wills...
