Hi Nepali brothers and sisters,
There are lots of rumors about H1b stamping now a days. But, as per my experience, I have noticed that as long as you have maintained good records in US, you will not have problem in getting H1b visa even you are working for Indian consultancy. I went to Nepal after 6 years in March thinking to stay for good in Nepal. But in July, I changed my mind and wanted to come here. So, I asked my company( ABC Indian Consultancy) to send my all h1b papers. I got those papers in Aug 2, filled up DS160 in aug 4 and got visa date on aug27. I took all the papers sent by my company as it was sent (still in Envelope). In my file, I put all my transcripts, certificates, I-797, all I-20's, recommendation letter from my previous employer when I worked in OPT, and two years w-2 and tax filed papers. The interview was for 10-15 minutes, but it was all about my schools, graduation years, where I worked in opt, who is my employer, what I will be working as, how long I will be working. Only the hard question was why did I stay so long for Nepal, and I told the VO that I came to Nepal after long time, so stayed for almost 6 months here and I am in unpaid vacation. The VO issued me visa and asked to come to pick up after 2 working days. Even at port of entry, just one question was asked. Why did you come here? I just replied, I work here.
So, guys, if you have maintained your status and no any bad deeds here, you are safe and easy to get visa.
