I am new to NY.  I am looking for an apartment in NY but where ever I call, it is a broker and they ask for 3 months advance (1 month rent, 1 month security deposite and 1 month broker charge). Is this the system of NY. The rent itself is very high and on top of that they ask for broker fee.

Does anyone know apartment complex near by kew Garden Queens
