WTH is going on?

Telegraph Nepal

Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda of Unified Maoists Party has invited India to directly intervene in the ever troubled Nepali politics.

He begged for India’s support at an interaction program organized for Nepal-India Human Development and Friendship Association, September 25, 2011.

“We acknowledge India’s support in the signing of 12 Points agreement. I urge India to play positive role once again for smooth progress of peace and constitutional process,” said Dahal.

The former NOIDA dweller appealed India to again pounce upon Nepal a la 12 point agreement, November 22, 2005.

Height of Nepali insult.

“Had relations between Nepali political parties and India not been cordial, the 12 point agreement was not possible. The 12 Point agreement was reached with India’s benevolent support to declare Nepal a federal democratic republic”, he said and added, “The role India played then to forge unity between parties, in the changed political context I want India to play similar role.”

Total Submission! However, the fact is that India was not made to play a role instead India unilaterally played this role by summoning the then sinking seven parties in agitation and forced them all to sign the ignominious 12 point agreement which, in effect, sidelined the Monarchy. History can’t be distorted.

Has Prachanda gone senile? NOIDA smell still continues perhaps.

The Indian Ambassador Jayant Prasad who has earned popularity in his short stint in Kathmandu by toeing coercive line adopted by his predecessors was also present on the occasion. Soft coercion indeed.

When Chairman Dahal in his pocket, Ambassador Jayant Prasad has abundant reasons to smile. Bahadurs will remain ever Bahadurs!

“I, representing the largest party in the Constituent Assembly, appeal the Indian ambassador and Indian leaders to further support Nepal in the back drop of the 12 Point agreement. I think such a support will add new dimension in the relation between the two countries.”

New dimension, as seen by Prachanda, will be very close to Sikkimisation.

“The positive effect of the 12 Point Agreement was observed until CA elections were held. In the post CA election phase of Nepali politics, political parties preferred to take wrong directions as a result the constitution drafting and peace process remained stalled”, Dahal said.

The Indian Ambassador Prasad told the gathering, “We are ready to extend our support in your effort to make new Nepal. We are in favor of political stability and economic prosperity of Nepal.”

How the new Nepal will look alike with Jayant’s support is any body’s guess now.

People's War takes a full circle. From NOIDA to NOIDA once again.

Chairman Dahal! Awake! Listen to the cry of mother Nepal if you could.

Currently, baburam became a PM as a result of agreeing to a DANGEROUS 3 bullet agreement with the Madhesis, one to give Madhes to be autonomous +aaatma nirnaya ko adhikaar(meaning the madhesii CAN say they DO NOT WANT TO BE A PART OF NEPAL.)

And the most dangerous ONE is that THEY WILL ALLOW INDIAN MILITARY TO BE ON TIA ONCE AGAIN...

WHY ARE MADHESIS LOBBYING AS PART OF THEIR AGREEMENT FOR INDIAN MILITARY TO BE IN NEPAL or in TIA?? This shows how INDIAN the madhesis are.

And more importantly, this shows what kind of an illegal agreement BABURAM has agreed to become a PM. Nepal is not his for him to say that the Madhesis can be not just autonomous but also self determining..Baburam doesnt OWN madhes to say yes I will let you separate yourself from Nepal when i become a PM..!#$Q#@$@$??????????????

THAT IS NOT UPTO HIM TO ALLOW OR NOT ALLOW..HE HAS AGREED TO DO A RASTRA GHAATI THINGS ON THIS VERY DANGEROUS AGREEMENT WITH THE MADHESIS AND INDIA.

He is a traitor apart from being a MURDERER.

Prachanda is his partner in all of these crimes, so what else can we expect from him???

@paulinadidi it is still fox news to me but let me clarify things. I strongly object the deals, rather i would love to see the atankabadi tried in the court for countless crimes in a peaceful country. What I am saying is the news link you gave me has a lot more narration and less facts. I would love to see the pact they signed. Noone has that, i tried searching for that but nowhere to be found. And about telegraph nepal, if you have been reading the news from the site you will know. I oppose a criminal representing whole nepal and playing with sovereignty of nation for the sake of power. But the news should have more facts less of story. I would love to see if someone post the original pqct and then criticize the deal.
Jai Nepal
God Bless America

And i stopped reading after first paragraph because right on the left corner i saw the links starting with greater china and i could see where the things were going to. I hate fixed news but not criticizing the topic, just encouraging all people to find more reliable source so it will be more convincing.

Again I came, how people really know that India is taking over Nepal, India would Nepal take over Nepal, 75% is already taken when there was king, 20% was already taken when there was congress and UML and any thing that is left will be given by Maoist. Shame to NAPUNSAK Nepali who are always watching. Common guys, we will be like this forever, India won't take us either British had taken. We have brave that is why we don't use Mind? If you guys are pretty sure, why don't you guys fight with India??

Let India play role to conclude peace: Dahal

KATHMANDU, SEP 25 - UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday stressed that India should once again play a positive role to conclude Nepal's peace process.

“India had played a supportive role during the signing of the 12-point agreement,” said Dahal, speaking at a programme in the Capital organised by Mustang-Katmandu liaison office of Nepal-India Human Development and Friendship Association. “India should play such role one more time to conclude the peace process.”

Saying that his party has become flexible in the twin tasks of peace and statute drafting, Dahal alleged that the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN-UML have been making the processes complex.

He opined that an agreement similar to the 12-point should be forged to take the NC and the UML into confidence. The 12-point understanding led to the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) that brought the Maoists to the mainstream politics. Dahal stressed the need for forging an understanding among parties that prevailed prior to the election of the Constituent Assembly. He also said that both Nepal and India should consider each other's sensitivities and said that relations with India need to be as that during the signing of the 12-point accord. He added that the 12-point pact would not have been possible without India's cooperation.

The Maoist chief said his party itself would unilaterally conclude the peace and statute-writing processes even if other parties do not come to terms. However, he stressed that such a move may not fulfill the stated objective.

Addressing the programme, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav said that the Maoist party and Dahal in particular would be blamed if the peace process was not concluded.

“The government is led by the Maoist party, the combatants belong to it and Dahal, who signed the Comprehensive Peace Accord, is also a Maoist leader,” said Yadav. “And if the peace process is delayed, the blame goes to the Maoists.”

The other speakers included NC leader Ram Saran Mahat, UML politburo member Surendra Pandey and Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara. Similarly, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Jayant Prasad stressed on the cordial bilateral relations and said that areas of cooperation including climate change could be explored. Indian MPs P K Thungan--former chief minister of Arunanchal Pradesh--Kunwar Akhilesh Singh and Prof Alka Balram Kshatrya had expressed their views on the occasion. Singh said that South Asian countries should have a Saarc Parliament in line with the EU Parliament and that it should be located in Nepal. Indian leaders underscored the need to strengthen the bilateral relations and vowed to work in that direction.
