If you call 1.5 crore people merely a community, I pity your judgement. Go and read history as well and try finding out that madhesis existed centuries beyond some pahadis sneaked from India afraid of Mughals into the hills.

Genuine people of terai I am fine with no problems with giving them their rights.

As far as how long most of these people in terai is you know the answer to it dont tell me to go back in history. Most people in terai are recent migrants and dont tell me otherwise because thats bull shit and if you look at the population trend from 1950 to now you then know what I mean.

when ' pahadia' consider themselves only a true nepali, when 'newars' consider themselves, only a true kathmanduits, when 'bahuns and chhetries' consider themselves only the ruling caste of the societies, such type of things are not surprising. Everybody has rights to demand equility. Before blaming them, we better correct ourselves, and our attitude to look them. They are the true indigenous people of terai, and to say them 'bideshi', we have to give terai region independence, a country on its own.

ne23pe bro, census before 1950 says there were literally no pahadis living in whole terai belt of Nepal, before 1950 there were only madheshis and tharus, no trace of any other ethnic groups! Before 1950 government of Nepal had very little or no administration in terai region, my grandpa used to tell me stories about how they would settle disputes without any government involvement. ne23pe bro, madhesh was totally different back then, madhesh was a heaven for madheshis, but when pahadis started migrating to madhesh, they brought racial discrimination and politics (bad politics of course). So, you better resfresh your knowledge of population trend in madhesh after 1950 and who acutually are migrants in terai!

Ok paramendra rules bro tell me one thing what is the population trend from 1950's til now. The population of all other ethnic group were meager percentage where as the population from 1950's till now the population of terai basi's doubled and I am not talking about Pahadi coming from the hills and doubling the population. Look again at the population distrubution and then tell me to refresh my knowledge.
As far as racism is concerned don't you guys discriminate against the Dalits, like dom, dusars, etc... So dont give me that crap about Madhesi's are gentle bullsh%t. You guys are opertunitist just like any other group.

We have to respect authentic Nepalese who live Terai or Madesh....
