hahahaha....

just for an instance hai. there are plenty of examples....

Look at that "nepali rapists convicted thread"...man!!!! that case is long gone now. can't we leave him alone? everybody deserves some degree of respect no mattter what he/she does. shit happens in life!!!!!...it's how one learns from it and try to improvise from that point on , that matters. pin-pointing the same fellow for the same sh*t again and again and again and again..is not gonna help anyone's cause...

sick and tired i am...huna ta euta le bhanla, if you don't like the thread, ignore it...tara ignore gardaima problem solve hunna ni...we are same ol nepali with same ol stinky attitdue. when we gonna change? maoists revolution, yo revolution, tyo revolution, social change nada nadaaa ....BIG talks. nothing gonna happen if we don't change ourselves???? yo kura kahile bujhne, kahile???????? when is the right time???/

One simple solution : Khutta tanneyko haath katnu parcha else think khutta tanneyharu do not even exist!

On a serious note, is it only us, Nepali ki whole human species? Paardon my ignorance hai! :-)

flips,
that's correct. human nature itself is inclined to hypocricy albeit in different magnitude...but believe me, we nepali, are somewhere around the top of the list :) :P

I differ here. I have seen people from other origins exceeding a line of hypocrisy. We see ourselves as one of the top ten as becasue we deal with them most of the time, hoina ra? I prolly am in the different league.:-)

it's no research, just my experience... i have to admit that the claim could be erroneous..but south asians are, by nature, more hypocrites than people from other parts of the world. reason being, people from third world and developing countries tend to be more insecure - financially, physically and mentally. so when someone from these countries gets a chance to consolidate, they DO tend to consolidate by hooks or by crooks, big time!!!..jealousy, unhealthy competitions then become parts of the process. and when law and order don't rule, people tend to take things for granted and to their utmost advantage. they won't struggle to sustain, they would rather look for the right opportunity to find a short cut for success and cash on those.

that is the problem of ours- nepalese'.

But would not it violate Darwin's Theory of Evolution - "Struggle for Existence"? Not trying to steer the topic hai, just a thought!

well,
that's the problem. when the system is fully unstable and profane as is ours, one person's good intention and sincere effort cannot make a big change unless he/she chooses to sacrifice and spend his lifetime to make the necessary ammendments. now how many of us would care to do that ? we have easier ways like coming to a place like US of A which has loads of opportunites, work hard and earn a good living.

those who are left out or those who choose to remain there MUST adapt to the nature of the system we have in there and be like one of those corrupt politicians or beaureocrats of our country. That's the structure of the struggle for existence we have to face in nepal whereas in a place like USA, you've got to work hard and show the result to sustain. that is the struggle for existence for this part of the world.

we have witnessed lots of people in nepal achieving success at young age without much struggle. some of them have worked truly hardly to reach the status quo and they have spent ample time to reach there whereas most of them have gone through unfair games and politics to score success without much struggle. Now who would chose to work hard and earn money when there is a much easier roadmap for success? that's when you tend to take things for granted. that's when you don't respect others' achievements fairly. that's when you tend to become a hypocrite.
