With a Theme on "Youth and Newah Culture in Mainstream America "

Dear friends and families,

On behalf of Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA), the executive committee
is pleased to invite you, your family and friends, and all friends of
Nepal to participate in the NPPA's 14th Annual Meeting coinciding with
the New Year 1126 Nepal Sambat being celebrated as MHA PUJA (Worship
of Innerself) - also known as "BHINTUNA" (Good Wishes). This unique
cultural event of Newah people of Nepal is taking place all day on
Saturday, November 05, 2005 at Tacoma Park Middle School in Silver
Spring , MD. The details of preliminary program, venue, directions,
nearby hotel and contacts are given below.

We kindly encourage you all to do an electronic registration via
NPPA's web site www.nppa-us.org for saving $$$ as well as for our
accurate headcount for the program featuring Traditional Newah Samay
BAJEE (Lunch), Sitting BHOYE (Dinner) and Cultural Program.

i am not against newari tradition. actually i love my tradition and equally respect others as well.
ALL i am saying is about this organization. i know the people involved in this org. and how they have treated my friend because although he's a newar, this woman i don't want to mention the name of, didn't allow him to participate in their organization because his caste was lower! ? aare you fukin kiddin me? newar bhaye pugena? manche bhaye pugena? caste le garera program ma gauna nadine? ghanta matlab testo organization ko?

btw, i don't need your forgiveness!

People like bishnu is a problem of nepal and neplease, it becasue people like him we had instance like ritik kanda and many other kandas in nepal amount anger and hate he showed based on one statement is really astonished me and i know most of the neplease do not share that view.

You donot need to post your thinking. Redline has done it.

90% of Nepali are worst people on earth. example: redstone, Bishnuavatar, DashaiBoka, BathroomCoffee N me & my self. We just can't get along. don't know why.

Their website shows Meera Shrestha as the only female person in the Executive Committee and or Board.

Redstone, if the woman you are refering to is not Meera Shrestha then you are way out of place in blaming the whole organization for something that someone who is not in thier executive committee did.

If someone in the organization did actually do something wrong then those kind of things should be brought to public so that things remain transparent and clear.

Bishuavatar was sure that anybody that had anything bad to say about a Newa Organization like NPPA must be a BAHUN. He claims that he's open-minded, not a "jaatist"..blah blah blah. When Redstone proclaimed to be a Newar himself Bishnu was dumbfounded.

Bishnu not only admonished Redstone for a being a "bahun" and not understanding Newa culture and traditions but went to a lengthy diatribe about and worshipping cow, which is a Hindu tradition not a "bahun" tradition per se.

I don't know where and how all this led to Bishunavatar's proclamation being not a "monarchist"!

Redstone, for that matter, shouldn't hold malice against the whole organization just because of action of a particular member of that organization.

That is a typical racial lawsuit in the US when white person is hired instead of a black person.

The fact is that there can be a hundred valid reasons why the white person was hired instead of the black person.

The same way, there can be many different reasons why your friend was not allowed to perform. Maybe they were out of the alloted time for the program. Maybe they already had someone else doing the same thing your friend was going to. If you want to get to the bottom of this you have put the whole story instead of condemning an organization for nothing. I don't belong to this organization but I know how difficult it is to organize events specially when the people in the organize work for free. It's inconsiderate of people to blame or condemn the whole organization just because they have a big mouth.

crypto, dude, i wouldn't say anything like that without actually knowing why they didn't allow him to sing. i know the damn reason, thats why im mentioning. if i go any further, and explain what had happened, and this woman, not meera shrestha, or anyone that she had talked about my friend, then she would know who i am, who my friend is and what we almost did to pummel her husband and her to the floor by going up the stage. and yes, i agree we cannot get along, becasuse we are nepali. someone mentioned, we all inculding me and you all, we are to be blamed for this, and i won't say he's wrong, he's true.
and don't think im guessing why they didn't allow him to sing, because, i am 1000% percent sure, why he wasn't allowed. so don't even think that i am pointing fingers without any reason!
