Wow whenever I was bored in KTM --HTD was my place to escape. I had some best memories from there, my brother used to own a auto part store, I learn so many things from him there customer dealing, business, dealing with vendors (especially Made from Birgunj) when I was at eight grade. Drinking beer with matured guys and giving them the exaggratted guffs of ktm,  dirty jokes, oh boy those were the days, I felt like a big man.  I wish I could go back and be a big man agian........................................

Excellent weather, great place, nice buddies, chawk maiya haru, gadi truck, driver, khalasi, karraa, rapti and hupra cour.

Hetauda used to be quite a fun place during my school days. I don't know much about these days though, haven't been there so so long now. Even the trip to Manakamana, or the trip to those ruins of the palace of the yesteryears (I cannot remember the exact name right now) used to be so much fun. Swimming in the Rapti river and if it was too hot, Samari was the option. Of course bike ride to Daman and Simbhanjayan or even to Kulekhani were so much thrilling.

Oh boy, I miss those days.

Bhauju ko momo, Madan choyola, Lama dai ko chowmein, etc etc. Dudes, almost fed up with the burgers now. BBQ still does not replace the satisfaction of SEKUWA nor does the JACK DANIELS can wipe off the thrill that I used to get while taking the local RAKSHI when I was out of parents control/supervision once in a while.

Hey,

I am also from (Downtown..?) Hetauda. There are lots of People from Hetauda (Makawanpure) around DC Metro area(DC/VA/MD). I still remember during the summer time when we had school in the morning, we used to go Rapti River right after lunch until we get hungry and in the evening in Hupra chhour for FOOTBALL and at last MOMO in Bus Park. Those were wonderful memory always remind of Hetauda.

Mr. Insane reminded me of  insanely insane taste of "Saraswati ko sukuti and chyang" near Pashupati Mandir................... I wonder if its still there or not. Anyone tried that one its behind the white color house big place owned by Saraswatis Mom. I can still feel the taste in my mouth. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!
