Hi Folks,
My wife's aunt and uncle applied for visa and was denied recently. Their visa was sponsored by their daughter. (Possible reason- she took very long time to graduate). Now. if I want to sponsor them, my questions are:
i. what are the chances of them getting it through me?
ii. What if any impact it will have on me/my history/record if their visa gets denied?
iii. Can I just send them invitation letter or I should send them affidavit of support also?
Please kindly share any information/similar experience. Thanks.
PS.- I am a US citizen.

You don't have any blood relationship with them so do not make that mistake.

Since you are a US Citizen, you cannot be deported. You are therefore immune to any and every consequence pertaining to immigration. You can sponsor anyone you want.
