I admit he shouldn't have said what he said.....But why could you not have been cool and responded without racist comment that generalized the bahun group....you could have talked just about hari what give u that right to generalize just cause of one person?......This could show ur no different than the other racist.....

 this is slave mentality !! why not u fight against it all bahuns. I donot think  u guys can generalise all the bahuns are in the same category. There are some good and bad people in everywhere.  Why nepali people can not  be united? Talk about this rubbish.  Why they can not live in harmony?  I  have seen  many nepali who lives in  USA come behinds the poor african american as status and those nepali are working in poor conditions. Do I  have to generalise them? NO!.

Why Bahuns in nepal are ahead  than all janajati? Because of delication of proper education, If other janajati are educated, they always in good positions and had been sucessful. One other point! Bahuns never asked to any one to go join in british army! indian Army and so on. This is choice they made!

Guys, if you are a bahun, why do you have a hard time accepting the fact that our ancestors (read Bahuns)  created the whole system to their advantage. Yes, bahuns were the literate. They were considered the sacred. They  took advantage of their status and if you were the leader, any caste would have done nothing different IMO. Remember how the whites took advantage of the blacks. If you look at the earlier leaders, they were bahun because they were the ones educated at that point in history. Understand that literate people bring about revolution in the society. That goes to the 2007 B.S. revolution as well and the recent Ganatantra revolution. Now, as a result of this 'old' generation (read Girija, Makune, Baburam), the bahuns have clasped the high ranking seats in the major parties. But the new generation is coming up and we will soon see a spectrum of castes in the parliament, as if we already haven't. Then only can we judge whether it was bahuns that crippled our country. If I had to bet, I would say jun jogi aayeni kaanai chireko huncha Nepal ma.

First know the demography, geography, toppography, economy, histrory, strength and weaknesses of a country before u call urself a patriotic. To me in depth knowledge is essential to speak confidently.

I never and ever will shy away from speaking the truth even when the whole world goes against me.

In 1814 and 1816 British attacked Nepal and don't tell me now WHY?  We kicked Brit butts twice. So diplomatic as they were/are, invited all Nepal kings to Old Delhi to sign a treaty. BTW, Nepal was bigger and ruled by several kings that time. So our kings signs a treaty and due to that very treaty, gurkhas are recruited every year but alas Nepal got squeezed into its current size.

Later janajatis fought along with Late King Pritihivi to unite Nepal. So, now you know they fought for their nation and their King.

This is a thing that has always been discussed and will always be done. Bahuns really have been the leaders. The big ones as in the rulers of Nepal. But is people educated enough to understand the fact that its their capability that led them to do so ? ..... Dont just be a butt-head and be like yea why only them .... kill em basters ... comeon now people the more capability you have, the more opportunities you get.

Go and see your face in the mirror before you curse Brahmins

I am irritated by the talks about inclusive democracy, and the present day protests and supports towards it. People feel great when they talk bullshit about the Brahmins and Chettries. Even people who belong to these groups dont bother to rebuke their own ancesters. You can always have sympathy to the people that are backward in the society, but what the hell I did to your dad that you *uck around with me all the time? In fact, I hate this word inclusive, why in the world you want to be included where you don't belong? If you have guts, go and compete in a free competition.

I see four or five Yadavs in the IOM MBBS entrance passers list every year. If there is a government policy against madhesis, then how the hell these many yadavs can be doctors in the country? I see mostly mongolian faces in the police and army. I have rarely seen a brahmin army. I have never seen a male nurse or a male air-hostess. I rarely see male receptionists. This is not because there is a discrimination policy in the government, but because these people have talents and interests in these fields. Compare the involvement of Brahmins in the field of education to that of other groups. And tell me if they dont deserve most government jobs in the country. Most Brahmin kids are good in studies, a fact other groups should acknowledge. Also, I have seen that most Brahmin kids are tortured by their non-Brahmin counterparts in school because of their gentle nature. In most neighbourhoods, Bramin people are bullied because of their gentleness. Yes this is a generalization, but truth on most part as well.

And there are poor Brahmins too who sttrugge to eat a single meal a day. There are Brahmins whose children have never been to school. There are Brahmins who have never heard about these politics. So how can you blame Brahmins from robbing your job from you, when they are the victims themselves? What people dont understand is Brahmins succeeded in life not because they have special treatment from the government, but because they are the hardworkers. They deserve all this success. So, don't just blindly curse Brahmins. Remember, you have all rights to envy their success, but don't dare to question its legitimacy, because they have worked for it.
