Looks like in this world everyone is looking for love. But does love really exist? And oh ya! The true love. That everyone is running after.

Augustine of Hippone completing a definition initiated by Aristotle defined three types of love and these keys are interesting to transpose in our history :

- Loving to be loved (Amare - Amari) :
A narcistic feeling necessary to believe in myself, the minimum necessary to start believing in other...

- Loving to love (Amare - Amare, in Greek philien) :
Joy to share, friendship, force which makes us closer to the other, gives us value, allows us to exist in society

- Love (Amare, in Greek agapan) :
Loving-gift, the one who does not look after its interest

Lets take this one by one:
Loving to be loved: of course who doesn’t want that, if somebody comes and gives you something you want .Something you need .Obviously you would like that call it love.
Loving to love: Of course this is true too , who wouldn’t like someone to be there and help them, and so you can not be isolated
Love:Ah.. Here is catch.. All the above definition there is an underlying factor called ..Selfishness. In speaking of this definition of love, the love does not really exist.

Take for example: your personal life
Your girlfriend loves you because she loves movies and eating out.
Your BF loves you because he has some manly desires.
You mom n dad loves you because ,when you grow up you can help them out
You love your mom n dad because they provide you basic necessacity..
Husband in wife “love” cause of several materialistic reasons.

Your social life:
You friend helps you so when he needs help you help them
Your boss needs you so he can save is ass
You need your boss because he can save your ass.
The example is unlimited. So what do we get this from here. Does a bird name “love” really exist??

Well the answer is simple: every act is a business transaction ,there is no such thing as love .Profit and loss is evaluated by every creatures of this planet while doing their act. May it be as simple as self-satisfaction or gratification(spiritually speaking)
What is comes down to is business of social give n take is named as love in modern practical context.

Spinning your brain again: Do not wait for true love, it doesn’t exist in this materialistic world. Find a suitable business partner for a business deal where you make more profit if not at least an equal amount.

P.S: I m not pessimist...hehehe...optimistic for good business deal everyday;)

Love is like religion... people don't see it but they still believe its existance.

love is directly proportional to the time spent with your spouse/friend/family; of course if you get along with the person hehehe...

In other words, love grows in time. So if you haven't spent enough time with your family members then you wouldn't truly love them as much.

did you skip my post? They say parents love unconditionally...but I don't think it's true for all parents. Some parents just follow the cultural rules and regulation forgetting about what their child really needs/wants. And I guess that's because of what they had experienced from their parents.....Their brains are already altered because of the strong social pattern of our society. And it is very difficult to make them realize.

I think people in our society even forget to think by themselves as they depend so much upon what others have to say....

I think true love starts with friendship and it applys even towards parents. If a parent cannot be a friend to his/her child then the strong bond cannot develop....

Love starts with attraction....friendship starts with a friendship and it should end as a friendship. If u divert friendship to love then it will end as a disaster. ImI is right, A guy and a gurl can never be true friends, it will always be more that friendship when two opposite sex comes into play...attraction and jealousy will always be an issue...Im not saying that two opposite sex cannot be friends, im just saying it wont be a true friendship that is should be.

I do agree that it's difficult to find genuine friendship in this materialistic world. But it doesn't mean that friendship doesn't exist...yes true friendship is rare....you cannot buy a friend! If your friend can be bought with money, then that's not your real friend. they are just "hi/hello" ones. And I'd say friendship is mutual too...It doesn't work by only one person trying to put effort.

I still say real love starts with friendship, and lust doesn't. but ofcouse lust could eventually end up with love because of friendship...if there is no friendship in the lustful relationship, that relationship with most definitely end sooner or later.

Love of a partent to a child....it is human nature to take care of a helpless, esp when it's your own blood. But as the child starts to develop mind of his own, the parents often find it difficult to tame the child to fulfill the parents' desire. BUT if the parents 'realizes' that the children have mind of their own and might have their own wishes, only then, the friendship between a parents and a child can develop! And only then, the strong bond can develop. And as a said earlier, friendship between a parent and a child is mutual too. :)
