No, a double cheese burger with extra mayo - re kya!LOL! Yes, unfortunately, I did. Also had a slice of trans-fat filled chocolate cake for dessert - it was my colleague's birthday - what to do? Would generally avoid them - the cake, not the birthday :P - but this one was too close to me to do so.

We were discussing how NYC banned trans-fat from restaurants and if offices can ban smoking and drinking in their premises (which many companies do), why not trans fats too? As it is, many offices have disallowed such items in their vending machines :) Of course, that discussion got nowhere. It was just an office rant to fill space in a otherwise boring conversation :)

Loote - Talking about friends, do you ever feel as you grow older, the harder it becomes to have close friends? I mean you may have new friends, but people have their own priorities and stuff, because of which you get less face-time with them and as a result bond less. Not sure if you experienced it the same way, but I did to a large extent. Life these days has become, sorry for th over-used phrase, about "the quality" of the few friends I have rather than the quantity.

my thoughts exactly captain. i couldn't agree with you more. sometimes i reminisce my old days in school, there were few friends i genuinely thought i would be with all the rest of my life...but now, i don't even know their whereabouts...i talked with a long lost friend from school a while back but i could not really connect with him the way i used to when i was in school. so much has changed and we did not even realize it...phew!!!....these days, i want to live for the present....i want to cherish what i have with me right now ..who knows they will be with me tomorrow or not...that's life, my friend :-)..

hehe, quite a jaded philosophy there, no? :P

we will serve it to him, on the rocks in a cute glass ;)

That will be served until few bottles are emptied....:P



After that, we will serve him with--- Curry fried rice with shredded chicken in dinner :D




After dinner, we will talk about 9 tankie saga for an hour or 2. Wine will be served in the meantime...

Loote - My guiding principles on the subject are pretty close to yours too. I find great in them for the most part. I can relate to everything you mentioned there.
