I am in F1 status. I am graduation in this May. I tried to call my parents and they applied but got rejected. I am outstanding student in good scholarship and I already got job in line after graduation. I really want them to be here in my Graduation but they got rejected once. What should I do? Should they apply again? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

My Parents got rejected too. So, they couldn't come for my graduation. There are also 60+ and got rejected without out proper reason. But once I got my H1B, they applied it and they got it. But lots of people recommended me that they should have tried it right a way. I am not sure if that would have worked. But my suggestion will be same, try again.

Buddu says: if some bring parents for graduation and make them work in a gas station, others will have to live in darkness for 12 hrs.

Same things happened again.. I am not sure why they are not convinced. All the documents are there. I am really frustrated where to ask them to apply again. They show everything brother in school, factory documents for Mom and company documents from Dad’s company.

plzhelp, Its sad to know that they were rejected again. One thing, you need to keep in mind is when your parents apply for visa ,donn try to show that you are settled here with all different job offer and 10 k bank balance. It doesnot matter how good you are but if ya r attending a top tier school, the probability of getting visa is high (most of the time).

My cousin's parents applied and were rejected the first time. Second time they went showing bigger bank balance. That helped and they got the visa. The biggest thing they look for is your parents tie to Nepal, money helps but if you have other reasons like other young siblings, good job that helps. Factory work should have helped, maybe he might want to get some high profile recommendations from factory on how important his position is to the factory etc etc. All I have to say is follow above advice and try again.
