Hi guys, When I read this story, I thougt this is too much, Matrika Yadav should get punished for his action. But after I read his statement today in a Newspaper, I realize that may be he did the right thing, corruptions is spreading like cancer, we would be leaving Bangladesh behind soon.

I know and I support that nobody should take law in their hand excpet the authorized personnel, but some time you have to close your eyes for sake of society and country.

काठमाडौं, (नेस) वन तथा भू-संरक्षणमन्त्री मातृका यादवले स्थानीय विकास अधिकारीलाई आफूले ट्वाइलेटमा थुनेको स्वीकार्दै त्यस्ता भ्रष्टलाई थुन्नु नै पर्ने बताउनुभएको छ।

व्यवस्थापिका-संसद्को हैसियतमा बुधबार बसेको संविधानसभा बैठकमा सभासद्हरूले उठाएको जिज्ञासाको जबाफ दिँदै मन्त्री यादवले भन्नुभयो- भ्रष्टाचारीलाई थुन्नैपर्छ र म वन मन्त्रालयमा छउन्जेल कुनै पनि हालतमा भ्रष्टाचार हुन दिन्न।’

र्ँकर्मचारी थुनेको विषयमा छानबिन हुन्छ भने होस्। त्यसमा मेरो पनि सहयोग रहन्छ’ -मन्त्री यादवले अन्य भ्रष्ट कर्मचारीलाई पनि थुन्ने काम हुने चेतावनीसमेत दिनुभयो।

भ्रष्ट, फटाहा कर्मचारी होस् वा अरू कोही त्यस्ता कसैलाई पनि आफूले बाँकी नराख्ने बताउँदै मन्त्री यादवले भन्नुभयो- दुगन्धित व्यक्तिलाई दुगन्धमै राख्नुपर्छ भनेर ट्वाइलेटमा थुनेको हो।’गल्ती गर्नेलाई कारबाही गर्दा मैले कारबाही भोग्नुपर्छ भने म तयार छु। तर म जहाँ रहे पनि भ्रष्टलाई छोड्दिनँ’ -मन्त्री यादवले भन्नुभयो।

प्रहरीलाई जिम्मा लगायो भने प्रहरीसमेत मिलेर भ्रष्टलाई एस्कर्टिङ’ गर्छ र सफाइ दिन्छ। त्यसैले आफैले कारबाही गर्नुपरेको हो’ -उहाँको थप भनाइ थियो।

What can we expect from corrupt officials like Ghimire??He is a paradigm of typical Nepali civil servant.If sb dares to penalize those profane officials,i would appreciate that endeavor.Forget about the rules and monitory system of Nepal,they aint gonna do a shit.We witnessed their actions in past and r not in a state of bearing more.All those officials who made shitloads of money were never touched and r still rejoicing on that god damn money...so i aint gonna trust on that blummer that he could have been penalized a/c to the law.If few ministers step forward,these motherfckers will defintely ameliorate.They are just taking the advantages of impotent so called law of  poor country.
  Last not the least,forget about how a crooked second class officer should be treated,alrite??Those so called high officers who try to play with money of poor Nepali if hanged even dont deserve words of condolence.

When the country has minister like Yadav who is actively protesting the corrupt officer,  people are protesting and  collecting money to improve Yadav's mental health. Are we that dumb or are there very few people like Yadav left in Nepal. What is going on??? It seems like majority of Nepalese are corrupted and ready to prove that Yadav is a psycho but deny their corrupt intentions.

Saale chor vaate kukur corrupt officer. He should have been locked up in Sahid Gate's Toilet. Yadav's toilet is too clean for him to be locked up.

I would recommend the government officials who are on strike against Yadav to resign or to stop this nuisance activity.  And the government should open vacant positions in place of those officials(so called corrupt revolutionists). Believe me my friends there are lots of  good citizens who needs a job and would replace these blood suckers. And in future there would be no strike to protest corrupt officer. That would  be a great  move.

This country is sucked by thugs, corrupted and the mafia. You cannot catch up a single culprit by using rules that Gyane and his lackeys established. In the past, minister of nepal had just a ceremonial role, the burocrats did the real stuff.... with links to the palace.

matrika wants to come out of the box. Thats the right way to go Zadav comrade.........well done. Ordinary people dont care Gyane's bourgeois and feudal etikettes..........they want to see the culprits punched......

I think these people are responsible for lives of 14000 Nepalis, in that case some one can kill them without any trails or tribunals.

 

What would you do if Matrika Yadav comes to you and locks u in a toilet because someone complained against you to him that u r corrupt. Do you expect all of us to applaud Matrika? Don't you expect a fair investigation.

I don't know how corrupt that officer was. It's not a movie like Shahenshah where the superhero is the cop, the lawyer and the judge.

In a civilized society, there is a thing called power allocation, there is a reason why there are cops, lawyers, judiciary, free press, and above all transparency. Why a minister clings to his position if he can't abide by the law or for that matter have no respect for the law. Do we want people like N Korea's leader who is probably everything, a government by himself. Or do we need a democratic system, flawed it may be, but gives a fair chance for everyone to defend himself against accusations.

Matrika might have been right, but he is no god to punish someone by himself. If that's the example he sets, and that's what we applaud honestly I have nothing to say on this matter. Chapter closed for me.

But put yourself in a civil servant shoes and think accordingly. A minister is no god. He is not a cop. He is a civil servant who has to respect the law to clean the system if that's what he wants to do.Eccentricity and hyperbole takes you nowhere Mr. Yadav.

What MR Ghimire did was wrong. There are two ways to right this wrong, taking laws into your own hands is definately not one of them. We have the justice department for that. Nobody is above that law not even Mr Yadav. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ORDINARY CITIZEN'S TO OBEY THE LAWS WHEN THE LEADERS THEMSELVES DO NOT FOLLOW THEM ? THE LEADERS SHOULD BE SETTING AN EXAMPLE NOT GOING VIGILANTE. NEXT THING YOU KNOW THE COUNTRY WILL BE IN TOTAL ANARCHY IF THIS TREND CONTINUES.

If Ghimire did commit corruption, then his ass should be put in jail for 10 years. You say locking him up in toilet for 1.5hrs was unlawful and unprofessional? Fu*k professionalism in Nepal. Look at the journalists at the Royal meeting! Look at those pakheys who increased the seat of the Parliament to 600! Don't give me shit with professionalism in Nepal. And screw the Court! You think the SC and police in Nepal are not corrupt.? There are some judges that need to be locked up in stinky toilets. I say the one near Ratna Park is a perfect venue. I commend Yadav ( if his claims are correct) for being bold, knowing that everyone would be after his ass for locking up a officer. As the saying goes, "Sojho aaula le ghui aaudaina bhane......"

yes, anyone who takes bribe should face, if not the same but similar humiliation. I am not supporting some sort of vigilante movement nor am I condoning Maoists atrocities, but  there is rampant corruption in the civil service. Some people say bribe is a necessity...that "they don't pay you enough so you have to get commission." Attitude like this is what led us here today.

Now you  "intellectuals" at sajha  sit down in front of your PC, sipping coffee and iterating the rules of a democratic civilized society and the behavior of a minister, forgetting the poverty, the hike in prices, the unemployment, and the life of ordinary citizens who survive in daily wage.  You forget how one corrupt official is draining the economy and sucking a life of another unemployed citizen.
I believe Nepalis(not you folks from ktm who grew up with a silver spoon) want change and Yadav's infamous toilet incident actually gives them hope!

I completely agree with you man. I think pyaari kt has very close relative like brother or dad corrupt. That is why she is so much worried about getting locked in the toilet. Moreover, the one by the ratna park. I would say even if my own son is corrupted I would want him to be locked up in the toilet.
