This is a request/advice to the owners/workers/relatives of NIRVANA Company.

My here is my story: Last month this nice girl called me by my name, called me Dijju..called my husband by my name and called him dai and tried to sell us cards. We were thrilled that they called us and that there is a company in Nepal that sells cards and also uses telemarketers. However, we told them that we rarely call these days as there are other mediums of staying in touch. That was then...This is now....
They call us at all odd hours, they call consistently, apparently they have no clue that we had been called that very morning and had been told that we use other methods of getting in touch with our in-laws, parents, brothers and sisters, so they call us again (different people times hours) This constant harassment has been going on every day with us politely turning them down. But it has got to stop!!!!!!!! They call in the wee hours of the morning now after we turned them down.
Does this happen to anybody else?
They even got a hold of my cell phone and there were 8 missed calls in the span of 15 mins. Does that give an idea to the sajha folks??
This morning they called at 3 a.m. and that is after wishing them the best in their endevors!!

If you get a phone call with an "unknown" ID just ignore it or ask someone else to pick it up and say that you've moved out for good (or just get a new phone line if you're the timid kind). As far as I know, they've been harassing everyone I know except for me. Why? Coz I had to resort to flinging some the worst profanity I could ever think of. hahaha They prolly wet their pants!!

Don't these morons know that we in NY have cheaper alternatives to call back home? BTW, the ones being abused need to report them to the authorities.

I bought card thinking atleast I don't minding trying it out to promote nepali entrepreneurs but for weeks after paying I never got my pin in email as promised
I paid through paypay and I am leaning towards calling them and put in official complain and get my money back.

Yeah, when they first called me I told them we in NY don't need a phone cards as it is cheaper for us to use the local calling cards here. They kept insisting and in a lil while I felt sick giving them the same reasoning over and over. Either these fellas are dumb as hell or they just can't hear straight. However in the end, they knew I wasn't going to buy a phone card but still, they HAD THE AUDACITY to ask me for my credit card number! Can you believe that shieet? hahaha I couldn’t believe that they did that and they were like, we're just gonna keep it on file and you won't be charged anything. hahaha Yeah right! I ain't born yesterday!!

I bought a card for them, they told me it gives 51 minutes but it gave me only 14 minutes.

malvika, you wise-crack. I have no idea about gulaf's case but Listen, nirvanatel has been calling peeps in NY at odd hours and I am testimony to that shieet. No other telemarketers do this type of bull (here, once you ask someone to place you on the Do Not Call list and they do it again, its sufficient grounds for a legal complaint). Their dreaded phone calls have become a harassment. BTW, Any person defaming any company out there (Nepali or Not) is good for all who come into the thread...Atleast, these companies would know what NOT to do from next time. If no one complained, would they even care?? This is the second thread on Nirvanatel I've seen on sajha and it seems that everyone's had enough of the annoying calls this company has been making.

Same thing happened to me as well. funniest thing is they told me Himtel is not a nepali company. Can you guys believe the way they are trying to sell their cards?

FYI, if you are? could you please be a dear and let them know NOT to call a certain person in the US, one who wished them well in their endeavors and one who does not want to be disturbed. I did that in a very respectable way and I hope they can only respect my request.

share your real experience .......... and its not about nirvanatel ........... its aabout all you guys bull shit about every nepali company ... making up your own stories ....... the fact is .... if there was any kind of mis dealing of $4000 by any compnay .. the compnay would be shut .... i dont think you are such a nice person that you will let it go .... and i assume nirvana is still there ...... if they have really done it why dont you raise a dispute with your bank ........ and you will see the company closing down ..... i believe you wont be doing it ........ cause you GAS ..... and it is stinking ....

I am not talking about bull-shit i can prove that it happened to me. What the hell are you talking about. I called f**king Nirvana tel Manager and he agreed some guys from his IT department did that. And he fired some people if you want to make sure if I am lieing or not you can ask them if you dont believe me other wise shut your hole....and go to hell.
I have no complain about thamel, muncha or himtel. But my Credit card info was leaked from Nirvana Tel thats all I have to say.

I have been watching this nirvana stuff for long ago.I don't understand what's the problem with nepali people ( i am also nepali by the way ) but i don't consider myself a good nepali like the ones that have been discussing all the way since three months regarding nirvana tel.Being Frank, nepalese have the tendency to pull back legs of other nepalese that's why our nepal is lagging far behind.I really appreciate Nirvana tel . I am not in anyway related to this company but i really wish for their progress.Our Nepalese have been trying to start a new business in Nepal and i hope we should encourage because because of this company many nepalese will be employed and the economy of nepal will raise.But the damn Wild nepalese I must say Jungali cannot think about this.Blady fools can spend 100 $ for a prostitute but can't just spend 5$ for trying a service that has been provided by nepalese for nepalese.Even what i am surprised is that the people posting here are in the us and their minds are so much jungali that i can't express. I hope people shoudl think once.
