If the hotel is provided in Doha airport, is it worth it to stay there for 12 hr transit? Is there hassle to go out and reenter airport as hotel is located outside the airport?

Why do people keep asking questions when they are flying ? Dude , just stay there at airport. What are you going to do in 12 hrs? Of course there will be hassles here and there unless you are special passports or the prince of arab.Two hours min for the hassles . You will have max 10 hours . 6 hours to sleep . So what will u do with 4 hours ? Too many questions about how is the flight how is the route how is this how is that .

1 hour to take visa, 1 hour to reach hotel, 1 hour to dine in , take shower etc, still I assume 2 hours, 1 hour again to come back to airport , 12-5= 7 hours left , I went outside to see stuffs , went to club down the hotel , met some chicks, had fun overall I slept 2 hours only.

It's up to you how you will take it. There is prostitution right outside your door, if they see you single or with guys and come to ask for massage. Beware from them, but if you go to club you will meet Europeans and white chiks too.

I think I had 14 hrs transit couple of yrs back, I booked hotel close buy airport online, around 15-20 min drive. I had enough time for good 8 hrs sleep, along with dine and quick city tour in taxi, I would recommend it. One other time I just get in the lounge in airport , I think it's 45-50 $, you can take nap in there along with food and bath.

Take the hotel. It's worth it. No hassels.
