My individual research shows, employment prospects are a lot tighter in Australia than here in U.S. My cousin says the places like sydney and melbourne is flushed with asian-pacific people with lots of education. So if you don't have excellent grades or significant experiences , you are out of luck.
It might be good for people who have cash in excess of 100k as there are investment opportunities in othere parts of country like perth , brisbane and queensland.
So it depends on your own situation but all my freinds and relatives say it will be tough to get going with the employment aspect of things.

Australia is one of the bast country to live in(PAs check HDI and they have been ranking very high including No1 several years). Melbourne has been voted best place to live in the whole world.

There is huge competetion for jobs , but if you have good english and experience 99% of the chance you get the JOB.

Try going to QUEENSLAND (Brisbane is Capital) or Westen Austalia(Capital is perth) there are plenty of jobs due to mining booms.

It also depends what your majors are but jobs are not really problem.

Dubai can be best options if you ahve foregn degree but its not democaracy and you Wife may not enjoy, or its not a place to raise children.

Australia is a western country , similar to USA , same language, same movies, same songs, same food but relaxed life style. In fact I met tens of NepalesE who has migrated from USAjust ;last month when I was there.

its the new land of opportunity. Its basicly the lifestyle that is attracting the western migrants and work prospests that is attracting asian migrants. Also a crime free environment is preferred by most migrant as oppose to other countries.
