Hi Sajha.com friends,

I did three year B.Sc. in Clinical Laboratory Science from Nepal and evaluated my degree through WES before coming to US as transferred student in 4 year program with the same major. I have 90 credits transfered from Nepal on that way but did not help much to graduate early. Apart from that I completed almost 120 credits from US university before I graduated. Now, I am working on CGFNS Visa Screen application.

Do I need to evaluate my degree again from CGFNS/ICHP before I apply for Visa Screen?

I do not think I have to, because I graduated from US university but when I asked this question to CGFNS, they took 15 daya to say “ …..Read the instructions and follow them…”

Have any of you been in similar situation?

Please share your idea. Hope to get a better clue!

Thanks,

WinnerA,

I ain't sure if you have to evaluate your degree or not and I haven't seen any specific rules regarding your situation on CGFNS website. All I say is that try asking your question on www.allnurses.com . They might be able to help you.

Regarding CGFNS customer service, they suck big time. I had one question to ask them and it took me two weeks to get the answer.

Anyways, goodluck!

I guess so, In CGFNS it says you have to evaluate all or your education after high school. Even you have only SLC they require to take GED so that you have US equivalent school.  All post high school has to be evaluated, thats what I understand.

Blue moon,

Thank you for your idea. Something that I never understand is why CGFNS people do not reply our e-mail with useful information. Thanks.
