Hello sathiharu ho;

I need help in answering thing question:

Can any one tell me difference between RN after Associate degree and RN after BSN in relate to applying for greencard? I know that RN  bachelor takes 4-5 years to finish. RN associate takes 2-3 years.

as far as i know in the us,  rn is a full 4 year bachelor program.  before RN,  there is a LPN which does not require  yr degree.  as for getting a green card via work sponsorship, might need a 4 yr bachelor degree.  but this is not set in stone.  i am sure there are ways around to it.  may want to refer to US Immigration site.  They have category and the requirement.

By the way, are you in the US already?

jpt007, to the best of my knowledge, there is no difference at all no matter if apply after associate or after getting BSN. The thing would matter if you had to apply for H1B which is not the case with RNs. Green card for RNs doesn't descriminate on this basis. Therefore I suggest you no to waste you time for getting BSN. You can always complete BSN after joining the job. Your company pays for the tuition, etc as well.

good luck
