 Why call "Everest" when we know its "Sagarmatha"

Do we have to call the highest mountain in the word which is in our country (proud of) "Everest" which is an given English name from some Brit's last name who spotted it? I rather call "Sagarmatha" which is meaning ful and is a nepali given name. any opinion??

^ why call it sagarmatha ?
Sherpas have their own name, after all they too have the right to call it.

But I would love people saying it sagarmatha.

Sagarmatha is good to say becuase machapuchre is the same too. so why not?
