I think its hard to get a free download. Try some p2p software like Ares. You may find full version with keys.

hey
you can download Ms SQL server 2000/2003. and 2005 from microsoft.com
click download and type ms sql server 2000

i think it will be better for you to download 2005
learn the latest one.
it has great features as well
