Hey guys! I am thinking of going back to Nepal this winter (around Dec 22-24) for about 3 weeks and I am expecting to come back to NY in January( 17-19). What do you think is the cheap and good deal? Where should I book my tickets from? Any ideas are welcome... Thanks in advance...

Internet is a big place "bibas100" Surf arround, you will find some good and cheap flights. If you are thinking of direct flight, that always is expensive. For example: I am flying from Copenhagen, If I take direct flight I pay about $1250 US. But I connected my flight my self, from Copenhagen to Standstate London from easy jet arriving in the morning, and From London Hithrow to Delhi In British airways, in the evening, and From Delhi to Kathmandu after two days in local fair. All together $920 US. Return. Plus I get to see london and delhi on the way. I don't know how it is through the atlantic, but I am sure it is possible to fly cheap. But ofcourse It depends on what you want, and your attitude on this way of traveling. I quite enjoy it.

Its better to book now, more you wait much expensive ticket will be. the best (in my opinion ) for that period will be NY to Delhi and Delhi to KTM. If you book as a package it will be expensive what i suggeat is buy two tickets separately. you can buy online. from NY to Delhi you will have e tickets (print out yourself) and from Delhi to KTM it is paper tickets which will be deliverd to you by mail. check cheaptickets.nl, the website is also in english. I used that website to buy the tickets for my trip last july and was quiet satisfied. I am not related to the company in any form.

I can see what you guys are heading for. However, I don't feel like going through India given the hassle and the indian customs. So, far I've got a deal for $1450. It goes from JFK-London-Bahrain-Ktm and same route back...I feel like that is pretty expensive..nywaz..im waiting to hear from some travel agents...

I bought the ticket from world wide travels and that is an indian travel agency. There are some Nepalese working there. They will help you. The total fare was $1430.
