King Gyanendra will be last monarch in Nepal: Karat:
New Delhi: Stating that the days of Nepal monarchy were numbered, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) general secretary Prakash Karat Monday urged New Delhi to stop any support to King Gyanendra.

"We are sure that this king (Gyanendra) is going to end the spell of monarchy in Nepal because people there are convinced that the monarchy is against democracy," Karat told a news conference here.

"India should not lend any support to the king, particularly in providing the arms," he said.

At the press conference, Karat and Janata Dal (Secular) leader Surendra Mohan issued a joint statement condemning the "anti democratic" moves of the king.

"It is highly deplorable that King Gyanendra resorted to violence against a peaceful demonstration in Kathmandu leading to large-scale arrests," the statement.

Former prime minister G.P. Koirala and other senior political leaders were injured in police action against them during the demonstration.

The statement asked the monarch to remember the promises he gave to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during a meeting in Indonesia on restoring democracy.

The leaders also expressed solidarity with the democratic forces in Nepal.

Karat also urged the central government to be "vigilant" about the unrest in neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, which has been rocked by a series of bomb blasts blamed on Islamist fundamental forces.

I see... because there is no peace in our country, this dictator had opportunity to enjoy power. He doesn't want peace at all because he'll be out of power. But so foolish he is not to see himself digging own grave. He says he'll rule for three years now. Later he will renew it another three years. But the more he thinks himself smart the more foolish he is.

It hink it will be the best choice for the king to give up his kingship. He saw what happend with Saddam and his family and it will be wise just to let his ego go.

RAW is trying it's best to make king gyanendra the last monarch, reason is pretty clear,so that India in the future can get along with the nepalese leaders like Girija, Makune and get what ever they want. All of these leaders are corrupt , remember guys this is what they did in Sikkim and the result we all know, now sikkim is integral part of India.
Now Maoisit they run there goverment from India, shame on India when it comes to pakistan, bangladesh, burma they cry cross border terroism what about them.
Lastly I am not a king supporter, but believe me king is need of the time let the revolution comes from nepalese people not artificially by the RAW. One more thing , we nepalese never think of consequence, have we ever thought which leader we will believe once monarch is gone, i am sure none of us want Girija to be president of Nepal, who makune ...no way. what about Prachanda....? the man who have already massacre 10,000 neps? then who ..........
History In Afghanistan, Iran and of course Cambodia has shown us what a turmoil country can be in once monarch is gone? r we ready to accept it? or are we ready for the Indian armies to move into Nepal and run Nepal under president's rule under India.
India never had a good intentions towards us and will never have in future until and unless we become like sikkim or bhutan.when king Birendra planned to have a military exercise at banke , nepalgunj , strategically the most important point for Nepal, so that Nepalese army can be the force for the UN, India brought democracy in Nepal. what kind of democracy we had, it came for few leaders in Nepalese congress and UML.I want demoracy for common nepalese, I want democracy who can fulfill 5 basic fundamental for the people not the one we experienced for the last 12 years.

"or are we ready for the Indian armies to move into Nepal and run Nepal under president's rule under India."
--What difference does it make: Gyanu's mercenaries or Indian occupation force? For 99% real Nepalese people, Nepal is a colony of one family. Anything will be better.

Well it seems all of us are afraid of India. Thos people who try to paint Indian scare tactic are often fail to mention that?.. Our monarchy is the very close to the Indian?. This king who was businessman before becoming king didn?t trust that many Nepalese to be his business partners?..Most of his business partners were Indians.. This king grand mom was Indian and this king couldn?t find a Nepali girl to marry his son although it was arranged marriage. His daughter in law is Indian too.
If we look statistical view the future king ( paras son ) would have 66% of Indian blood?..And We all know the fact that if India or china wants to invade Nepal no countries of the world come to in her defense?.

Karat is writing this in collaboration with and in support of Maoist. Those who supports terrorist are also terrorists, because even India has declared Maoist as terrorist.

Good point Manish 321.

"I am ahppy to be under Gyane's mercinaries force rather to be under dhoti, people like u who love girija have ruined the country." Ruined the country? Not yet. Oh bro! Liberation is ruination of henchmen--of Gyane's, Prachande's, Girije's or Mane's. Will it not be a good day when Gyane's "country" is ruined and Nepalese people's Nepal is thus liberated from the tyranny of centuries?

Leaders can be voted out, dictators have to be booted out. Rather simple. But we Nepalese are a little less evolved beings of our species.
