 gc holder staying outside of usa more than 1 year?

Apart from re-entry permit travel doc, is there any way a gc holder stay outside of usa for more than a year and still be admissible to usa?

yes if you have the genuine reason like medical issue. Go to the US embassy for the application / info if you are living abroad more than a year as the USA GC holder.

Re-Entry Permit is the only option for the GC holder who wants to stay abroad for up to 2 years before leave the USA.
