timi ta nepal jaula, tara hami haru lai yeha texas ma basna tension huncha ni yaar. If everyone start doing stuff like u r thinking. no dhoti will ever hire nepali again. and they are the only source of our employment here in texas. with that $ 40000, u can live happily for 4 or 5 yrs in nepal and than after what?? when u run out of money?
Bro, just dont only think from perspective, think from others perspective as well. My marketing teacher once told that " bad news tend to spread 9 times faster than a good news". just imagine ur boss telling 9 other gas station owner, who may have employed nepali students. Those innocent students job will be jeopardize because of your insanity.
If u r not satisfied with ur 6 per hour job, u can always look for another gas station who r paying 7 or even 8 per hour. so bro, think before u act.

It would be worthless to tell you that your act will defame Nepalese living in USA because why would you care about us? So, I would say you will be in a deep shit after that. It is not that hard to track your family in Nepal. I don't think a dhoti will let it go that easily for that sum, and you won't be able to enjoy that money with the fear of getting caught. Think about your name widespread in papers and internet as a fugitive. You will be a big loser !!!
Solution: Ask him for a pay raise. Most owners in Texas pay at least 8.5 per hour in cash. If you do a good job, there is no reason he would deny. Daily 20/30 nikala thaha napaune gari so that your pay will be like $9 per hour which is reasonable but don't flee like that.
If you have a valid status, finish your study and you will be saving 40k in a year after you graduate and have a job. 40k is not a big sum. You can not live your whole life with 40k.

He does not have to say illegal employee. A police officer does not have access to legal and illegal status and they do not care. He would not be in trouble for hiring an illegal employee because nobody files charges against him. He will file charges against you. It will be taken care of first.
Is there any proof that you are being employed by the gas station (are u getting paid in cash? have u been using the W-2 from the gas station to file your taxes)? How are u planning on taking the money to Nepal (are u planning on putting it in a bank at any point)? Is there going to be any video proof of you taking the money? Will there be other employees who will witness and be ready to testify that u stole the money?
Basically, this is what I am asking-
Will the owner be able to prove that you stole the money?

i think u should find another job or ask him if he can raise your salary, 6 per hr its like mexican stuff, i think everybody nowadys get paid more than 8 in every gas staion.

hey bro dun do like tht, due to inflation in nepal 40k worth nthg sriously, nepal is getting more expensive than US, So if u r not satisfied with ur job better search another one, it;s just like a saying paper is needed to work but it's completely wrong, search for a job it will take u a while but u will end up getting better meaning at lease 8 an hour these days because we work harder as well as we nepali guys are more smart than others, if u steal that 40 k n run way, i can guarantee u tht dhoti won't be able to do anything as well as u, what can u do with that 40k in nepal these days?, it just hurt u whole life as well as reputation of nepalese, So my suggestion is better search another job if u r not satisfied with the one u have now, paper is needed is only recommended but is not required to work n dhotis dun care abt paper if u make them happy, hope it might make u feel gud as well as bad but if it hurts u srry abt tht bro

I seriously think it would be a waste of time to post anything on this thread but just the fact that I feel pity on this guy and his level of thinking makes me want to drop two words. First of, you better have an escape plan for that 40k u trying to steal. Its not easy to go thru immigration once charges are filed. Secondly, even if you get to Nepal its not a whole lot of money to do anything big as such. I am pretty sure you dont care bout the rest of the fellows who will have to deal with your cheap act. I believe if you can think of doing something good with that money back in Nepal, why dont u put ur thought in doing good here. I am sure you'll find good paying gas stations at the least. You will be able to save that money with a couple years and you wont have to be ashamed of urself. Perhaps you'll meet good ppl during that time frame and you'll be able to improve ur immigration status and probably ur financial situation as well.

Don't you have a common sense? Do you think any store owner will stack his 10 days cash revenue. He will either send one of his relatives every morning to the store to take cash and deposit in the bank or he will ask you to do so. He will confirm daily deposits by calling his bank. If you fail to deposit on time, he will catch the next flight to the south and kick you straight on the nuts.....with this attitude, you will spend your whole life doing 99 cents plus tax and you are qualified to the optimal.
